marcello donadello I'm firmly convinced that the name of the band comes from a computer spelling a binary sequence while chewing bubblegum (that explains the “pop” in the middle).
A two headed machine that devours every sound that stands in its path, just to give us back everything with feeling in a unique reorganized form: de-construction was never such serious fun; re-costruction a surprisingly moving experience. Pop! Favorite track: Dai Topich.

Gli OoopopoiooO riscrivono cent'anni di elettromagnetismo. A un secolo esatto dalla nascita del theremin, Valeria Sturba e Vincenzo Vasi sfoderano le antenne dei loro evanescenti strumenti per sconfggere la monotonia della lobotomia de li tempi mia. E pubblicano il loro secondo album: Elettromagnetismo e Libertà. Sotto questo epico e speranzoso titolo si cela un lavoro in cui il duo volge a superare le forme musicali consuete, creando una miscela pop in cui convivono in armonia combinazioni stilistiche distanti tra loro: musica contemporanea, minimalismo, tarantelle techno, rap, musica popolare e filastrocche da cantare con l'amico immaginario.
